Elon Musk has bonkers meltdown

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s never a pretty sight when billionaires melt down in histrionic temper tantrums. That’s what’s going on right now with Elon Musk. It seems all the taunts are bothering MUSK as well as Donald Trump.

“President Musk” has been trending on Elon’s own social media site (Twitter — NEVER X). But Elon is pretty unhappy about this. This may be the only time he isn’t happy to see his name up in lights.

“President Musk!” As more and more tweets like this enter the forum, the billionaire seems to be losing his marbles.

On Friday, an angry President Elect Musk hit back at the memes, taunts, and laughter, suggesting this was all a plot by Democrats to drive a wedge between him and VP Elect Donald Trump. Musk, appearing jumpy and knee-deep in grievance, complained that Democrats were trying to tear him and Mr. Trump apart.

But, Elon insisted, to borrow a line from the great Michael Hutchence said it would not work and that, they “will NEVER tear us apart!”

I wouldn’t be too sure of that, Mr. Musk. It is fascinating that the wealthiest man in the world has nothing better to do with his time than to allow himself to be red-pilled by the MAGA crowd and send poop memes on social media. I guess the life of a billionaire simply isn’t that interesting.

Elon may have no idea that MANY who follow him are not doing it because they like him, yes, including this writer. We do it because he’ amuses us. He and his VP Elect are circus performers in their own social media cages, and we like to look jeeringly at them, have a few laughs, and exclaim over their oddities.

It is like watching a rather hilarious juggling act between two little boys who never grew up — and you don’t even need a ticket to view it all.

I will end this essay with one more taunt of Musk. After all that he did this week, he still didn’t get what he wanted. You see, Musk pulling funds for children’s cancer research is a bridge too far, even for Republicans.

I imagine this little circus act will go on until one of them gets bored and moves on to other activities, which will continue to bore the American people senseless.
