E. Jean Carroll reveals what she plans to do with Donald Trump’s money

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Now that E. Jean Carroll has won $83.3 million from Donald Trump, it may take a minute for her to get her hands on the money. Trump has to decide whether he can cobble together enough assets to post the bond required to appeal. And even then, if Trump doesn’t appeal, there will have to be a legal process by which his assets are taken from him.

But Carroll is already revealing what she plans to do with the money when she does get it. She’s saying this to the New York Times: ““I’m not going to waste a cent of this … We’re going to do something good with it.” She said the only thing she knows she’ll splurge on is premium food for her dogs. But in this same NY Times article, Carroll’s attorney is saying something interesting.

When Carroll’s attorney Roberta Kaplan was asked about whether she thinks Trump will keep attacking Carroll, Kaplan said that “this is a lot of money to Donald Trump. And I don’t think he wants another judgment at the same amount.” That sounds to us like she and Carroll are willing to go back into court against Trump if need be.

Even as Donald Trump now struggles to figure out how to come up with $83 million in the hope of avoiding asset seizures, he’s now just a few days away from a separate verdict in his New York fraud trial which could be perhaps $370 million. In the end Trump may not be left with anything at all.
