Donald Trump’s collapsing White House now being run by convicted criminals hosting drinking games
While the gross level of corruption and nepotism present in the White House is well documented, no one would be the least bit shocked to learn that it has trickled down to all levels of the Donald Trump administration. We are already aware of the massive waste of taxpayer money by top Secretaries such as Scott Pruitt, Ryan Zinke, Steven Mnuchin, and Ben Carson. Former Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price was also guilty of this and eventually fired under the guise that Trump cared about such wasteful spending, but many believe that once they failed to repeal and replace Obamacare Trump actually sent Price home for failing to accomplish their goal of taking away healthcare from millions.
A recent Washington Post story presented a look into the Presidential Personnel Office (PPO), which is being run by “a college dropout with arrests for drunken driving and bad checks and a Marine Corps reservist with arrests for assault, disorderly conduct, [and] fleeing an officer.” Under the Trump administration, the PPO “became something of a social hub, where young staffers from throughout the administration stopped by to hang out on couches and smoke electronic cigarettes” while leaders often “hosted happy hours last year in their offices.”
Then there’s this revelation of a drinking game called “icing” that was used to celebrate the 30th birthday of office’s deputy director. I’m not sure which part of that is more concerning – the fact the unqualified deputy director of this office just turned 30 or that they are playing drinking games that include chugging bottles of Smirnoff Ice.
This type of “smash and grab” technique of wasteful spending and stuffing pockets with money is typical of those that realize their time in power will soon be coming to an end. Similar to bank robbers who know the police are on their way, Donald Trump and his cronies are trying to grab everything not nailed down before their inevitable ouster. When Special Counsel Robert Mueller and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman come with asset forfeiture, we can hope that some of these criminals will pay back the American taxpayers with their stolen fortunes.
