Donald Trump has berserk meltdown about Dr. Birx

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald J. Trump was one of the main leaders and antagonists of the Birther Movement, challenging the right of President Barack Obama to lead this nation. Now, in a movement that sounds closely like that debacle, it appears that Trump has begun a Birxer movement, an attack on Dr. Deborah Birx, up to now a stalwart sycophant who told us Trump really reviews and understands the scientific data on the coronavirus. Her transgression and the cause of the attacks appears to be that Birx has acknowledged that the handling of the coronavirus has been a shit show.

Trump tweeted on Monday: “So Crazy Nancy Pelosi said horrible things about Dr. Deborah Birx, going after her because she was too positive on the very good job we are doing on combatting the China Virus, including Vaccines & Therapeutics. In order to counter Nancy, Deborah took the bait & hit us. Pathetic!”

Speaker Pelosi triggered this response when Pelosi and Martha Raddatz had the following exchange on ABC This Week:

RADDATZ: Madam Speaker, I want to ask you — we just have a couple of more minutes here — Politico reported that in a closed meeting on Friday, you accused Dr. Deborah Birx of the Coronavirus Task Force of spreading disinformation about the pandemic. Is that true? And do you have confidence in her?

PELOSI: I — I think the president is spending — spreading disinformation about the virus and she is his — she is his appointee. So, I don’t have confidence there, no.

Birx had also appeared on Sunday shows and said the coronavirus had been extremely widespread and also addressed school reopenings. Perhaps Trump does not realize that many of these shows are taped in advance for Sunday viewing. In any event, Birx did not attack Trump or his horrible administration over this crisis, she spoke the truth. Like Dr. Fauci before her, she will now be attacked for stating facts. We will continue to see the Birxer movement.
