Doug Jones just put “Jefferson Beauregard Sessions” in his place
Democratic Senator Doug Jones of Alabama is currently running for reelection. One of his Republican challengers is former Attorney General and current unemployed loser Jeff Sessions, who is trying to get his old Senate seat back. Sessions isn’t just a racist, he’s a white supremacist, and a devotee of the confederacy.
Even with the wind strongly blowing in the other direction across the country, Jeff Sessions is now doubling down on celebrating confederate traitors. Doug Jones didn’t hesitate to put Sessions in his place:
Delete your account Jeff. This came out of a Republican controlled Senate committee on a strong bi-partisan vote. I know it’s tough for you to be on the right side of history when it comes to the Confederacy, but you should give it a try. https://t.co/Nuhl5LW9dx

.
This prompted Jeff Sessions’ full name, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, to begin trending on Twitter as everyone mocked him for being such a loser. Sessions may not even make it to the general election, as Donald Trump has endorsed Sessions’ Republican opponent Tommy Tuberville instead.
