Don’t take Donald Trump’s bait

Please do not let the ridiculous talk of Donald Trump running for a third term get to you. It’s not going to happen. The constitution legally bars him from running for third term. They can’t change that, no matter how much they may like to. I have seen many inaccurate reports saying things about how the military will support him if he doesn’t want to leave, but that is not how things work.
Trump’s second term will end. At that point, he will no longer legally be allowed to live in the White House. The military will not be under his control because his second term will have come to an end. It seems there are a lot of inaccuracies in the reporting about that. I’ve seen a lot of reports that don’t mention this, and I am concerned that some may not even know it.
First, let’s look at this logically: for Trump to have a third term, he has to run for, right? So we would know what he was planning months before, because he would be the Republican nominee, which, of course, could not happen.
Let’s say there’s a different Republican nominee. Let’s say it’s Lindsey Graham, Vance, or a donkey. Who knows who it could be? If they run against the Democrat and we win, the military will then be under the winner’s control in January 2029.
If heaven forbid ,the Republican wins, that person would assume control of the military. Donald Trump doesn’t get to order the military to do things. It would be like a Fortune 1000 company when the CEO retires and a new CEO comes in, and then the old CEO changes his mind and says, “But wait, I want you to do things this way”, but he has no power to implement anything he wanted to do.
No US president can have a third term. It is not permitted. That is not going to change; most politicians, even Republicans, do not want it to change, and the only people who would want to change are folks like Steve Bannon . So please put your concerns about that to bed, and let’s concentrate on the here and now
