Donald Trump just announced to his supporters that if they turn out in sufficient numbers in 2024, they’ll never have to vote again. Trump also keeps claiming that he already has so many votes, he doesn’t need anyone to turn out for him. This comes even as right wing groups are suddenly claiming that Trump is going to win no matter what.

What you have to understand is that Trump and his allies are saying stuff specifically to try to scare and paralyze you. They see the momentum that our side now has. They know they’re losing. And they figure their best shot at getting back into the game is if they can bait you into giving up on the whole “momentum” thing in favor of going back to staring at your screen in paralyzed fear.

Your job is to not take the bait. Trump and his people do not have a magic wand. They just don’t. If you want to make sure we win, ignore this crap and focus on keeping the momentum going. Remember, if we win by a large enough margin, nothing that the other side does is going to matter. So let’s go win this.
