Donald Trump’s wishy washiness is splitting MAGA in two

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As many of you know, I am a huge reader of books revolving around Ancient Egypt, Greek Mythology, and other countries. They have always held a fascination for me. One of the objects of my fascination is The Nile which flows from Northeastern Africa into the Mediterranean Sea.

So, that is what this article is about. Only I am speaking of a different Nile. I speak of Denial. You’ve heard the expression: “Denial is not a river in Egypt.”

Denial can be an odious state of being. And right now, there is a war of denial playing itself out between two factions.

Here are who I refer to:

Magas — those that still love Trump and those who think he’s a traitor.

Yes, it’s happening. Maga (for now at least) has turned on itself. They have split into two groups, both in deep denial, hopping mad and chirping with corrosive rage.

Faction one is happy to hear Trump come out and say it’s OK to get the booster. These Maga are squirming about Twitter, basically saying things like, “Told you he wasn’t insane.”

Alas, Faction two begs to differ. This faction is filled with despondent deniers who are convinced Trump has betrayed them.

Some in Faction two have even pulled their support. “I can’t vote for someone who supports the vaccine,” one genius explained.

Nonetheless, in certain safe spaces on social media, the arguing is reaching epic heights as both factions are melting down as they try to analyze this new information and what it could possibly mean. So, as we celebrate the holiday season, be happy you are not a member of either faction one or faction two.
