Donald Trump’s Wilkes-Barre rally speech is such a disaster that people are leaving in droves while he’s still talking

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $2097 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,

Donald Trump is finally back on the swing state campaign trail, and he’s probably going to end up wishing he’d have just stayed home. Trump had trouble filling the arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to begin with. Then he took the stage and asked why we’re even bothering to have an election, rambled about how great it is that you can now rewind live television, and then claimed he was in North Carolina instead of Pennsylvania.

It was the kind of embarrassingly senile speech that had to have even Trump’s cult followers cringing. Sure enough, USA Today and the Kamala Harris campaign documented a large number of people who were getting up and leaving the rally while Trump was still speaking.

This is obviously not what Trump’s supporters were hoping for when they turned out for his rally, and it appears some of them just couldn’t handle being reminded how cognitively compromised Trump has become. How much longer before Trump’s babysitters pull him back off the campaign trail?
