Donald Trump’s ugly new scandal involving State Troopers

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s scandals are erupting at an incredible speed – as he’s under investigation in Georgia and New York in addition to multiple federal investigations by the Department of Justice.

Now, he’s decided to unnecessarily create a whole new scandal for himself within the swing state of Pennsylvania, after his website published a picture where he’s standing next to dozens of Pennsylvania state troopers in full uniform. The problem is that this was a picture approved for private use – even if that was the furthest thing from the former guy’s intentions.

Donald Trump obviously chose the picture as his profile banner because he wants to intimidate his enemies – so the quickest flex he could think of is an image of him surrounded by men in uniform. However, it is illegal for Pennsylvania state troopers to appear in uniform in a photo for political purposes and the officers who appear in the photo could all face disciplinary action for their involvement.

While the former guy probably doesn’t have to worry about facing dire consequences as a result of this scandal, like everything else, he’s leaving his sycophants to deal with the fallout of his own actions. It’s generally why it’s a bad idea to support the guy in the first place regardless of your political views and why if he’s serious about 2024, he’s liable to string up a whole new series of scandals along the way.
