Donald Trump’s town hall tonight with Sean Hannity is nothing short of insane

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Even though he claims to be running for President in 2024, Donald Trump still makes relatively few public appearances. When he does surface it’s usually against the backdrop of friendly faces at a rally, or a right wing convention. Tonight Trump did a “town hall” with Fox News clown Sean Hannity, and let’s just say that it was… insane.

At one point Hannity tried to get Trump to agree that he won’t be a dictator if he takes power again. Trump responded by saying that he’d only be a dictator on “day one” in order to drill for oil and do some nonsense with the border. The answer wasn’t even coherent.

At another point Trump declared that Al Capone was one of the “greatest of all time” before catching himself and adding “…if you like criminals.”

What’s remarkable is that even with an apologist like Sean Hannity there to try to help steer Trump toward coherent and non-ridiculous answers, Trump still had difficulty pulling it off. No wonder Trump’s handlers won’t allow him to participate in Republican primary debates. Up against a hostile entity, Trump would simply collapse.
