Donald Trump’s speech at the Libertarian Convention is unfolding in disastrous fashion

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When it was revealed to Libertarian Convention attendees yesterday that Donald Trump would be speaking there today, attendees responded by booing Trump and introducing a resolution for him to go “f–k himself.” We pointed out that Trump’s speech was going to be a disaster unless he and his people could somehow control who was allowed to be in the audience.

Sure enough, Trump supporters reportedly snuck in and nabbed the first several rows of seats for Trump’s speech while the actual libertarians were in another room taking care of procedural business. But then the libertarians took back the front rows:

.
As of now the audience consists of libertarians in the front part of the room and Trump supporters in the back part of the room. The Libertarian Party candidate for President is speaking, and he’s being warmly received by the libertarians, even as the Trump supporters chant Trump’s name.

Trump is set to speak in about an hour. If the libertarians are still in the room by the time Trump takes the stage, they’ll likely try to boo him off the stage. Stay tuned.
