Donald Trump’s senility truly knows no bounds
Earlier this week I wrote that Donald Trump’s senile moments on social media seemed to be getting worse, and that his babysitters weren’t going to be able to keep hiding him from public view forever. After all, he’s less than two weeks away from being “President” again. How are they going to keep him hidden at that point.
Sure enough, Trump’s babysitters sent Trump out to give a speech on Tuesday. Suffice it to say that it didn’t go well. Trump managed to come off as angrily unhinged and completely out of gas at the same time. He’s more angry than ever, but he’s also a defeated sort of angry. That’s a bizarre stance for someone to take who just won an election and is going to avoid going to prison. Yet Trump has always been the world’s most miserable person, and that’s not going to change. Nor is he ever going to have any energy again, given how badly his dementia appears to have advanced.
At one point Trump announced on Tuesday that the Gulf of Mexico will now be known as the Gulf of America, which is cute given that the President has no ability to rename an international body of water. Trump’s babysitters are continuing to position him as a sort of “cosplay Hitler” where he announces that he’s going to seize places like Canada and Greenland and now a body of water, without any plan or ability for making any such thing happen. It’s just sad to watch.
I do think we have a problem here that we have to keep an eye on. Trump’s babysitters are clearly peppering each of his speeches and social media rants with references to taking over the world, in order to make sure that that’s what everyone is talking about. Trump just gave one of the most senile speeches in the history of politics, and yet this “Gulf of America” nonsense will get more attention than his full blown dementia on display – which of course is the entire point.
We cannot allow a fully senile Trump and his babysitters to change the subject like this. Trump’s worsening dementia is the story. If the media won’t talk about it, we will.
