Donald Trump’s RNC is a dumpster fire

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Fear. Horror And fury If this were a movie, that would be the title. It would be the title of a film about a political party becoming increasingly fearful, horrified, and furious at Donald Trump for the lack of a campaign he is running. The Washington Post is reporting that there is a “growing revolt” of Republicans who are wondering at just WHAT the orange man is doing to win the campaign.

I can answer the THAT question. The answer is not a damn thing. More and more Republicans are noticing. It is also reported that there was a blueprint for how this campaign would be run. That has been shelved, it appears.

WAPO reports:

Hiring has slowed to a crawl.

New offices have not been opened,

Fewer and fewer rallies are happening

The ground game is almost nonexistent.

Little direction has been given to field operatives.

“There is no sign of life.” (That is from GOP operative Kim Owens.)

At this point, Trump’s campaign is an empty cornfield that stretches on forever; the problem is that nobody is in that field other than a few unplanted seeds. More and more, Republicans are becoming increasingly alarmed, leading to more and more hand-wringing, which is upping the panic levels.

The truth is Republicans should know better. Their orange person is happily sleeping and farting away in the dank rooms of the courts. If Republicans truly go through with nominating this person, they deserve exactly what they will get.
