Donald Trump’s Republican candidates are flaming out

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s picks to help Republicans take the majority in the Senate aren’t doing well. None of them should have ever been in their respective races, and on top of that, much of the GOP is finally seeming to sour on Trump. Let’s give them credit for good sense, though we cannot give them credit for the length it took them to figure this out. They merely prove, once again, that Republicans aren’t in office to help the country.

Business Insider (“BI”) recently reported on the Senate races of Herschel Walker, Mehmet Oz, and J.D. Vance. All three are tanking either in fundraising or other ways. BI also pointed out that these three races are critical if Republicans hope to overtake the senate. Herschel Walker is a proven liar, he says the most outrageous things, and his formerly secret children are no longer secret. When discussing the gun control issue, Walker said: “You talk about doing a disinformation. What about getting a department that can look at young men that’s looking at women that’s looking at social media.” Excuse me, but what? What does any of that even mean? Bringing up Cain killing Abel doesn’t help either. When asked about the same issue on CNN, Walker said: “What I like to do is see it and everything and stuff.” Again, what? No one knows what the hell Herschel Walker is talking about. Only an idiot would vote for this idiot.

Mehmet Oz has become suddenly quiet and out of sight. Of course, if he’s going to say mindless, stupid things like Walker, that might be best. Since winning the Republican primary, Oz has basically disappeared. He’s trailing in the polls and not one Republican has endorsed him since winning the primary. Politico reported that he has not been on the airwaves since May 21, all while John Fetterman has done commercial after commercial, reminding everyone that Oz is really from New Jersey. If you’re running for political office, wouldn’t you want to refute Fetterman’s claims? Perhaps that is a sign that he cannot. Then, you have J.D. Vance, about whom there is little to say period.

All three have lagged in fundraising, and a member of the RNC anonymously told BI: “They’re not the best choices because we’re not going back to Trump.” So, there’s that. He or she went on to say: “I think the Trumpsters are loud, and they think we’re going back to Trump. I could be wrong, but my gut is that we need independent voters to win, and we’re not going to get the independents if we run Trump people.” You think? Some Republicans have wised up, at least to some extent.

All three candidates may well self-implode long before election day. Vance-who had nothing good to say about Trump before-Oz, who is a television quack, and Walker, who continues to show his ignorance: “Since we don’t control the air, our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move.” As we like to say in the south, Bless his heart. Bless all their hearts.
