Donald Trump’s rally tonight is a catastrophe for him

Donald Trump can’t speak coherently anymore and thinks fictional cannibals are real people, so his rally speeches keep getting more embarrassing. But now he’s facing a different kind of embarrassment: he just can’t draw a sizable crowd anymore. He held a rally in Pennsylvania tonight, and even as he was taking the stage after several warm up acts, the arena was this empty:

This is a problem for Trump on two fronts. First, the dwindling attendance numbers at his rallies – at a time when interest should be ramping up in the final weeks of the election – points to a terrible lack of enthusiasm for his tired campaign. Second, his campaign is wasting money and making him look bad by booking larger venues that he can’t fill, when the campaign should be booking smaller venues. It’s just incompetence all around. Trump is in a tailspin.
