Donald Trump’s popularity plunges even further

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It appears that bad news has arrived — yet again — for the Lord of the lies. These past few weeks have been just awful for the thing we call Trump. It appears just about every day has had breaking news of some sort — mostly bad news — for the insurrectionist. Trump can’t possibly be happy about this which makes ME very happy.

And said news shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. A new poll conducted by Marquette University Law school is out, and it’s a cold dose of reality for the Mar-A-Lago maniac. According to the poll, more than 70 percent of Americans DO NOT want Trump to run again in 2024.

This is but a snapshot in time, but its results are pretty stunning. Yes, Trump’s popularity has been waning, but this poll by this organization — which has an excellent reputation — shows that less than 30 percent of the American people are behind Trump on this issue.

Now Trump won’t be running anyway. Hopefully, he will be tucked away in a snug orange jumpsuit whining about the unfairness of it all. But the poll results should make us all take notice.

The reason many continue to think Trump is popular is that his base — what’s left of it — is loud. They’re loud, they’re abrasive, and they never shut up. So their constant noise give the illusion that Trump is way more popular than he is. But the pile of Maga is shrinking. They’re shrinking by a lot which should make us all very relieved.
