Donald Trump is still insisting that the 2020 election was somehow stolen from him. He’s even using it as an attempted defense in his criminal trials. But it turns out a 2020 election investigator hired by Trump’s own campaign now says that Trump’s claims are total crap:

This is yet another reminder of why Trump can’t get anywhere in his criminal trials by claiming that he honestly thought the 2020 election was stolen from him. His own people told him, again and again, that it wasn’t.
