Donald Trump’s no good very bad horrible day

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Donald Trump’s day started off so badly with his running mate bombing on live national television, you’d think that would have been enough for him. But then Trump decided to turn around and immediately declare that “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” which is one of the stupidest things that any presidential candidate can ever say.

From there Trump decided to go golfing. That’s when the Secret Service had to take down a gunman armed with an AK-47 who was reportedly waiting for Trump to pass by. You’d think a second shooting attempt against the same presidential candidate in two months would engender some sympathy. The reality is that no one cares anymore. Convicted felon Donald Trump is inciting violence. He’s on the wrong side of violence. This is not what America is supposed to be. Put Trump in jail. Put the people targeting him in jail. Let’s turn the page.

But really, leave it to Trump to have this kind of no good very bad horrible day and not even surprise anybody. Do you know how stupid of a thing you have to say in the morning for people to still be talking about it even after someone tried to shoot you later that same day? I can’t even. America is just over this guy.

If you’re sick of this guy, now’s the time to get more involved in this election. Volunteer. Phone bank. Knock on doors. Put in your zip code on Kamala Harris’ campaign website. Work to defeat Donald Trump by the biggest margin possible, so we never again have to hear about him in any context other than his remaining criminal trials.
