Donald Trump’s name officially removed from highway sign
Most people who become President of the United States end up getting things named after them as a result. But Donald Trump, a career criminal, racist, and rapist who disgraced the office and ended up committing both treason and domestic terrorism, has seen the opposite happen. His name keeps getting removed from things.
This is particularly true in New York City. Even though he’s always been widely despised in his hometown, he spent decades finding ways to get his name plastered on all kinds of things, even though he’s always been hated. Now those signs keep coming down.
In fact New York State Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal just got Trump’s name removed from a highway sign in New York City:
One yr ago Donald Trump lost his re-election bid. After I wrote to @NYC_DOT, the sign bearing his name on the West Side Highway at 79th St was carted away today.

This trend will continue. Due to his worsening financial collapse, Donald Trump recently struck a deal to have his name taken off his Washington DC hotel. And as New York authorities move in on his financial house of cards, it’s a given that his name will end up being removed from Trump Tower as well. Perhaps New York will end up naming a state prison after him, once he ends up behind bars.
