Donald Trump’s lawyer just had a VERY bad day

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Projection, in psychological terms means attributing one’s own thoughts, feelings, and behavior on to somebody else. And on Monday morning, in a certain courtroom, a drama was playing out. And this drama was all about projection.

This was the day that a hearing was held by Judge Tanya Chutkan. It involved setting a date for trial — Trump’s trial. And such a date was selected. This trial date was for March 4, of 2024 right before Super Tuesday.

As you can imagine the attorney in the courtroom representing Donald Trump did not like this at all. And just like that, projection entered the courtroom. Donald Trump’s lawyer proceeded to put on a show – an all consuming, drama-filled, insane show, that definitely did reality TV proud as he dove into the deep waters of projection.

“Miscarriage of Justice,” Trump’s lawyer screeched. He then accused Jack Smith of wanting a show trial. Stop and think about this for a minute. A show trial. Jack Smith is the least showy person I have ever seen. He does not want a show trial. What was said in that courtroom by Trump’s legal team is the epitome of the art of projection.

It is Trump’s team who wants to put on a show and by gosh did this lawyer try in in that courtroom on Monday! He said that wasn’t adequate time to prepare. On and on Trump’s lawyer went. Judge Chutkan actually had to rebuke him. “Mr. Lauro. As I said, let’s take the temperature down.”

What a judge she is. This man’s liberty and life are at stake, the lawyer yelled insanely. To that I reply well yes they are. That is because he broke the law and that’s what happens when you break the law. You go on trial. This should not be difficult for a lawyer to understand.

And something tells me this trial date will hold as well. And it will likely be the first trial. So now we wait. We wait for Trump’s fate to be decided. What do YOU think the verdict will be? What do you think Fate and Lady Justice will do? I can hear their tinkling laughter already.
