Donald Trump’s latest terrible idea is backfiring on him already

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Trump’s decision-making skills aren’t what they used to be. Of course, they never were good. But now, with the mental health issues he has, I think one could comfortably say, Trump’s decision-making skills have been to hell and haven’t come back.

The latest Trump decision is another bizarre one (and I can’t stress this enough). This decision, if executed is good news for our side. The New York Times is reporting that Trump is set to come out in favor of a national abortion ban at 16 weeks.

Congratulations Donald! On a scale of one to ten regarding awful choices, this one’s a ten. Apparently, Trump is set to announce this 16-week abortion ban he wants to implement AFTER he locks down the GOP nomination. What is the reason Trump is reportedly settling on the number 16?

“He thinks it’s a nice even number.” This is not a joke. Ah, Trump. You always DO wind up helping our side. According to the NY Times, Trump will be seeking to ban all abortions everywhere after 16 weeks, and that includes all the blue states.

Now let’s look at this very poor decision, my friends. Glenn Youngkin tried this but failed. The problem for Trump is the American people have rejected an abortion ban. They have broken up with the idea, and the breakup was acrimonious, leaving no way to stay friends.

THE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT ANY ABORTION BAN. I mean — I don’t know how apparent this has to be for Republicans to get it. One would think they’d have gotten it already. After all, when one issue like this destroys a whole political party, one would think the message would be loud and clear.

Perhaps it’s Donald Trump’s mind fog that is responsible for this awful choice. I’d like to see Donald Trump on a debate stage. This sexual assaulter, traitor, indicted criminal, male chauvinist pig, gleefully asking women to please let HIM be the master and commander over their bodies.

Yes. I would so LOVE to see this play out. I’d love to see our numbers with women, which are already VERY damn good, absolutely skyrocket.

“Please run on this. Please.” That’s a comment from Social Media. The majority of comments are like this. The majority of people think Trump’s about to walk into a really big mess if he goes through with this.

And he likely will. That is because the GOP are women haters and will insist on SOME ban. Republicans cannot be happy unless they have some type of control over women. When they lay their heads down on their MyPillows at night, dreams of handmaids dance in their minds.

So yes, Trump will likely come out in favor of this ban, and Republicans will likely come out in favor of Trump and then the headlines will blare: “Trump in favor of the abortion ban,” and then women will be repelled, and then polls will show Trump losing even bigger with women, and then Republican men will shake their heads and wonder why.
