Donald Trump’s garbage can disaster

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Every day, at every conceivable hour, the bird is awake. She is a magnificent bird. Her plumage is bright and colorful; she is almost angelic. She never sleeps. Her plumage always shines as bright as tropical winds hitting shining waters. She is a bird so beautiful that the sight of her almost blinds you. Her color, creativity, and beauty call to us every second. I am her child. So are you. And when we see her — this utterly enthralling guardian of our hopes, our fears, our most effervescent dreams, our souls start to sing. She is the United States of America. She is mighty. And the other day, Donald John Trump, convicted felon and sexual assaulter, called her a garbage can.

“Garbage can for the world.” Yes, Donald Trump, in a vicious and, of course, rambling speech, maligned her; he tried to demean her; he tried his best to lower her wings, to bring her down into his own desperate and unending psychosis.

It was in the beautiful state of Arizona that Trump made these bitterly hateful and indecent comments. And everybody’s talking about them — and not in a good way. Imagine that! Imagine anyone saying these hateful words.

“Sick.” Yes, THAT is the word being used — against Donald Trump. He may have gone too far. He DID go too far. Only a sociopath would refer to our country — the United States of America — in that way.

“Denigrating the U.S.” In the last few weeks, Trump’s tone has become even darker than it usually is. His darkness has become palpable as he tries to blot out the sun. However, Trump cannot win with a message calling our country a garbage dump.

The thing about Donald Trump is, he has no other message. All it is is hate, hate, and more hate. The hate that he offers is the exact opposite of what the American people want. His hate is his own country — a country of anger and rage.

So, as this election proceeds into the last few days, it is so important (for us) to keep up the joy, the happiness, and the beauty and not be dragged down by a deranged psychopath who hates everything and everybody, including himself. We must fly high—like our bird, whose wings Donald Trump consistently tries to clip. He can’t, though, because we will not let him.
