Donald Trump’s gang of incompetent sociopaths strikes again

I want to point you toward this excellent article about the Trump administration, and what the author labels a “playground of sociopaths.” The article also goes into finite detail on empathy, and why the people in Trump’s orbit hate that word so much.
Almost everybody in Trump’s administration indeed appears to have sociopathic tendencies. My opinion. Part of the reason is one must be a bit OFF, to even have the stomach to work for Donald Trump. One has to have a bit of sociopathy running through one’s bloodstream. No normal, sane human being would ever subject themselves to what Donald Trump offers.
I mean, here’s a man who is a sexual assaulter, a convicted felon, who has a history of not paying his employees, so you’ve got to ask yourself what kind of human being that attracts. I can answer that one. It attracts the reptiles, the criminal, the primitive stimuli that have nothing going on inside except the chemistry of sociopathy.
Think about it in terms of occupational hazards, of taking the bad with the good. Also think about personality traits. We know, for example, that if somebody becomes a professional athlete, they probably have, besides athletic ability, a bit of competitiveness.
Someone who becomes a professional actor has to be rather thick skinned, and someone who becomes a doctor has to be someone who doesn’t faint at the sight of blood, and has a strong stomach. Someone who becomes a lawyer must have good oral skills.
The bottom line is different professions attract different kinds of personalities. If we look at Trumpism as a profession, it will attract a certain type of person. Water constantly seeks its own level. In the profession of working for Donald Trump, he’s going to get the bozos, the flashy, and the garish, the glow of incompetence coupled with the conscienceless of the ruthless.
These people are show toys, and clowns and circus performers. They are putting on shows of manufactured rage, 7 days a week, each having the same personality traits. That’s why when they talk, they’re virtually interchangeable.
And it’s the same with the Fox hosts. By the way, consider Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and Jessie Waters. If you didn’t hear their voices and just read a transcript of their online words, could you tell which one said what?
So I do think that we have a festival of sociopaths running around, but we also have a festival of incompetent sociopaths. This sums up the Trump administration in a New York minute. They can do the things they do because they’re heartless, but because they’re incompetent as well as being sociopathic, they f### up everything they do.
