Donald Trump’s Fourth of July plans just got ruined

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump should be huddled with his lawyers right now, trying to figure out how to mount a legal response to the imminent criminal indictments in New York against Allen Weisselberg and the Trump Organization. After all, Trump is about to go through some things.

Instead Trump is busy plotting deranged rallies with his idiot base, so he can pretend he’s still relevant. It’s what narcissists often do when they fear they’re nearing their downfall. In particular, Trump wanted to hold a rally on the Fourth of July in the deep red state of Alabama. But the permit has been denied, reportedly because officials feared Trump would turn it into a “partisan” event as opposed to a patriotic one.

We wouldn’t be shocked if the real reason local Alabama officials denied the permit is that they know the first round of criminal indictments against Team Trump is coming down within the next week, and they don’t want to get stuck hosting Donald Trump during what could be a psychotic meltdown.

Perhaps Trump will find another place to hold his Fourth of July rally. But for now he’s left high and dry, unable to even hold a rally in a red state, because everyone knows he’s going down and is running away from him accordingly.
