Donald Trump’s disastrous change of season
A change of seasons is upon us. It always arrives, this seasonal change. Now, it’s the time of soft summer breezes turning into gusty autumn winds, a time when we take that last dip in shimmering waters, bid farewell to yet another magical summer, and kiss the refreshing breezes of the Fall—a time when color bursts into view and leaves begin their whispers.
As seasons change, so do people. Often, our roads ahead change. For us Democrats, this is the final sprint so to speak—the time when we will be working our hardest, ensuring we hear, see, and taste the delicious victory we want so much.
But something is wrong with this seasonal change. What is it? It’s Donald Trump’s campaign, which ISN’T changing except to slide even further into muck. Folks, Trump’s presidential campaign—well, let’s say it isn’t going so well for the traitor. Take a look at a few headlines and see for yourselves:
“Trump tries to reset his campaign after brutal month.”
Politico
“Trump campaign having a nervous breakdown in public.”
MSNBC
“Trump’s carefully scripted week kept veering off script.”
NY Times
“Republicans worry Trump blowing their chances for Senate.”
The Hill
“Trump fumes when asked about Harris’s momentum.”
New Republic
“Trump team worry he’s golfing too much.”
The Independent
See a pattern here? The fact is Trump has seemingly turned into a sluggish, unmotivated, lethargic pile of goo. He has not done or said one thing since Harris entered the race that makes sense. And the media is finally waking up a bit to cover it. Everyone is talking about it.
So as the season of warm summer turns into autumn,, and we all gear up, Someone (Could it be Donald?) is gearing DOWN — way down — without one useful SENTENCE to his name so far.
