Donald Trump’s desperate “Trump Organization II” stunt has officially failed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

At the request of New York Attorney General Letitia James, the courts just appointed a monitor to oversee the Trump Organization’s finances. This will ensure that Donald Trump can’t just move his assets to another company. And if anyone in the company tries to meddle with that monitor, they’ll be held in contempt of court.

So there’s really no magic wand left that Donald Trump can use to work around this. He’s financially cornered. His assets are now entirely at the mercy of the courts. Remember when Trump tried creating a company called “Trump Organization II” in Delaware so he could hide his assets from the New York probe? To the surprise of no one but him, that stunt has officially failed.

Remarkably, this court appointed monitor is a separate thing from the fact that the Trump Organization is currently on criminal trial, with yet to be known punishments if it’s convicted. And of course this financial crackdown on Trump is separate from the DOJ’s criminal probe into his classified documents scandal, which is likely to result in indictment after the midterms. Donald Trump truly is taking on water from all sides.
