Donald Trump’s crumbling state of denial

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Studies have shown that when someone receives a compliment, their brain releases dopamine. Dopamine is the same chemical that’s released when one experiences other types of pleasures like eating chocolate, falling in love, or receiving money.

It’s the brain’s pleasure center. The power of compliments is huge. If said compliment is genuine, then, of course, it stands to reason that many, if not most people, would be genuinely delighted to receive one.

Of course, SOME compliments are NOT genuine. SOME compliments come as a form of manipulation, a way to get something from the source of the compliments. Con artists do this all the time. So it stands to reason that a message appeared on a social networking site called truth social. This was in the form of exactly what I just spoke about — fake compliments.

“I HAVE GAINED SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THIS GRAND JURY,” con artist Donald Trump posted on truth social.

“THE GRAND JURY IS SAYING. HOLD ON, WE ARE NOT A RUBBER STAMP.”

“WE ARE NOT GOING TO VOTE AGAINST A PREPONDERANCE OF EVIDENCE OR AGAINST LARGE NUMBERS OF LEGAL SCHOLARS.”

Behold, readers, the fake compliment (posted by a fake person who IS a genuine traitor.) Donald Trump is worried because if he were not, he would not be doing exactly what he IS doing — buttering up the jury.

Buttering up is not the same as a genuine compliment. The saccharine and fake words posted by a roving conman tell me that Trump is doing what he does best — lying. The truth is Trump has no idea WHAT is going on with the case, and though he’s frightened, his deviant mind is still lurking, trying to come up with ways to save his own skin. There is no way.

But in his own mind, what better way than the fake complement? This also tells us how far gone the man is. Does he really think a few fake compliments could work? Is he THAT scared, that much in denial, that desperate? Yes.

Trump is mistaken. He’s mistaken because he does not know a thing about Grand Juries. Most of them take matters seriously. Nobody will fall for this, and Trump’s smarmy manipulation is laughable.
