Donald Trump’s criminal defense is collapsing
The Trump legal team has just dropped an important clue about how the trial is going for their client, Donald Trump. That clue is — not good — not good at all. The defense has revealed that they may not call any witnesses at all. Oh, they have one expert they’re interested in calling, but said expert might not be available when they need them.
Nobody else. This is huge. I’ll tell you why. “There’s nothing a prosecutor likes better than no defense witnesses.” I’ve delved into legal literature on the matter, and the implications are stark. If the Defense’s decision is really to abstain from calling any witnesses that could be detrimental to their case.
It could present a bleak picture to the jury, hinting at a lack of a robust defense strategy or any strategy at all. So it could potentially lead to an unfavorable verdict for their client.
GUILTY. GUILTY. GUILTY. Think about it. If things proceed this way, it will show that there is not ONE witness who can testify on behalf of David Dennison, individual one, or whatever he’s called these days.
The prosecution has been doing a great job weaving a spider’s web of Trump’s lies, schemes, and cover ups.
The jury is waiting to see the defense counter that narrative. If they won’t- or can’t- that will project an image of complete futility. It’s sending a message in a bottle, and what the Jury will read in that message is that there is no saving Donald Trump.
