Donald Trump’s cognitive collapse is in full effect
Over the weekend, as you know, Donald Trump seemed to forget what state he was campaigning in. This is not the first gaffe. Trump has been making unforced errors like this for a long time now, and as you know, many, including myself, think he’s becoming senile.
This theory has many in agreement, with some disagreeing and pushing back. To those pushing back and saying this is normal trump behavior, I must politely disagree. Trump’s always been stupid. But the types of things he’s doing now are MORE than mere stupidity, and at last, others in the media besides Palmer Report are starting to talk about it.
The Morning Joe panel speculated about Trump’s mental health. Other organizations are speculating about a “cognitive decline.” So this is really something to think about. For the skeptics, I ask you — what would you think if someone you knew did not appear to understand we’ve had a World War II? What if somebody you worked with forgot what town they were in? What if one of your social media friends think Jeb Bush was President?
That’s the thing. This isn’t just once. Over and over, day after day, week after week, there have been these GAFFES, these really odd gaffes That appear to show Trump in some type of cognitive decline. Now — I will make the case further. Take a look at the numbers below:
1) Memory loss
2) Disorientation as to time and place
3) Challenges understanding visual and spatial information.
4) decreased judgement
5) problems with language
6) trouble with familiar locations and completing familiar tasks
These are warning signs—potential warning signs of cognitive decline. Trump shows and exhibits ALL of these warning signs. So, of course, it appears that Trump is spiraling downward. I remain baffled by people who do not see this.
But I have described here all the signs. Look at them yourself and compare them to where Trump’s at. Here’s the thing — if it were just one time, I would not be saying this. Everybody forgets something sometimes.
But let’s use an example. In the past couple of months, Trump has thought Jeb Bush was President and that Barack Obama was his 2016 opponent. These are not everyday things to forget. These events are deeply concerning, and others are starting to see it for themselves as well.
