Donald Trump’s candidate just got destroyed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s candidate David Perdue is 55 POINTS behind the other Republican candidate Brian Kemp in the early results tonight, so it’s obviously a huge loss for Trump. That gap may settle down once more results come in; the final polls had Perdue losing by around 35 points. But it’s clear that Perdue has lost, and has lost badly.

It’s the latest instance of a Republican candidate not only failing to benefit from a Trump endorsement, but losing support after being endorsed by Trump. Even Republican voters aren’t influenced by Trump’s endorsements anymore. He’s become that irrelevant to politics.

But Brian Kemp is awful in his own right. He’s spent his time as Governor trying to suppress votes in openly racist fashion. He’s on the wrong side of essentially every issue. Now is the time to mobilize behind Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams, who will face Kemp in November. You can support her campaign here.
