Donald Trump’s attorney Christina Bobb reportedly testifies to the DOJ

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s attorney Christina Bobb has testified to the DOJ about the classified documents scandal, per NBC News and The Guardian. She apparently gave up whoever told her to sign the letter falsely claiming there were no more documents.

Bobb now claims she wasn’t familiar with the document situation, and she only signed the letter because she was told to. It’s not being reported who told her to sign it. But even if it’s not Trump, this allows the DOJ to move on and try to flip that person next.

The goal is to trace this back to Trump personally. For instance, if Trump knew there were more documents but told one of his other lawyers there weren’t, and that lawyer told Bobb to sign a letter claiming as much, that lawyer would need to testify against Trump to stay clean.

The reason the DOJ has such a high conviction rate is that it goes to great lengths to land cooperating witnesses who were also involved in the plot. In this instance it was apparently just Trump and his lawyers, so the DOJ is turning his lawyers into cooperating witnesses.

But what if Bobb lied to the DOJ during her testimony? That would be a felony. In such case the DOJ could pressure her to be even more forthcoming in order to stay out of prison. Lying to the DOJ isn’t a magic wand. It usually just makes the DOJ’s job easier.

So even as people on social media sit back and mindlessly yell “why doesn’t the DOJ just arrest Trump right now!!!!” so they can feel outrage, the DOJ is actively lining up cooperating witnesses from within Trump’s own inner circle in order to increase the odds of conviction at trial.
