Donald Trump’s attorney Alina Habba thoroughly embarrasses herself in court

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. During Donald Trump’s first E. Jean Carroll trial, he was represented by attorney Joe Tacopina. He didn’t exactly do a bang up job, but he at least seemed to understand how trials work. The same can’t necessarily be said for Alina Habba, who is serving as Trump’s lead attorney in his second E. Jean Carroll trial.

Habba didn’t seem to know how to present evidence, and didn’t even seem to know when to stand up. This prompted varying responses from the judge, who at times tried to help her through it and at other times called her to the carpet. Habba didn’t seem to know what she was doing at all.

Of course Donald Trump probably has no chance in this trial no matter who’s representing him, which may be why he’s letting Habba handle it, even though she’s not qualified. But this is just getting embarrassing. Trump is so far gone cognitively, perhaps he thinks Habba is doing a good job.

In any case, these civil trial debacles all point to Donald Trump’s upcoming criminal trials going equally poorly for him. He’s not going to become less senile when he gets to his criminal trials. His attorneys aren’t suddenly going to be better at this. It’s likely to be more of the same. And that’s going to result in Trump continuing to lose.
