Donald Trump’s absurd new money grab

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Let’s talk about The Grifters. No, not the film, which was pretty damn good. No, I speak of Donald J. Trump and his bevy of squirming, drooling flimflam men (and women). The Grifters. Donald Trump doesn’t like too many things. Think about it. Besides causing mayhem and destruction, what are Trump’s hobbies? What are his passions?

This is a rhetorical question; Trump is passionate about little. However, there is one thing that causes his brain to sing. This one thing is something that Trump most definitely loves. Money. Money is at the root of all evil, so the saying goes. I agree with this saying, but I also say Donald Trump is at the root of all evil.

And showing his love of the green, Trump has a new scam at work which is bubbling and percolating as I write these words. “Can I count on you?” That is the fundraising email, going around the net, earnestly asking Maga for their money. “Official trump defense fund.”

The money — when it arrives — will go to Donald Trump’s PAC, Save America. Check out what it says on the “save America” site. “Donate TODAY to save America and support President Trump! Will you step in?” The Grifters.

“Supposed” statement from King Grifter, Donald Trump: “These are dark times for our nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, was raided.”

It is enough to make one sick. Of course, who knows exactly what Trump will do with this money. Make no mistake, though; the grift will continue. Donald Trump and grift go together like peas in a pod. I very much doubt Trump would even know how to stop. And his grifters in crime are happy to help it along.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
