Donald Trump will be indicted this year: legal expert

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If Donald Trump thought that his special master stunt was going to help him stall the DOJ’s criminal case against him in any substantial way, he was surely crushed to see that it only bought him about two weeks. After all, he burned a crucial ally in Judge Cannon in order to pull off that stunt, and now he’s right back against the wall.

While it’s becoming more clear than ever that the DOJ will criminally indict Donald Trump, everyone wants to know when it’ll happen. There’s still a lot of public speculation about whether it might happen before or after the midterm elections. But even if it does happen after the midterms, legal expert Neal Katyal – who used to work for the DOJ – is now confident that Trump will be indicted this year.

This doesn’t mean Katyal has inside information. Rather, his time as a former DOJ official gives him an accurate understanding of how the DOJ’s internal indictment timelines relate to what we’re seeing from the outside in things like public court filings. In any case, your job is to get out there and put in the work to help the Democrats win the midterms, even as the DOJ does its job of taking Trump down.
