Donald Trump “totally out of his mind” after figuring out he’s going to prison

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. After Donald Trump’s big “return” to Twitter last week, with a single tweet showcasing his mugshot, he’s since disappeared again from Twitter entirely. Instead he’s doing his usual incoherent ranting and raving over on his own failed social network, Truth Social, where basically nobody sees what he’s posting. Earlier this week I wondered aloud if Trump’s handlers have made a point of convincing him to stay off Twitter precisely because they don’t want the general public to (directly) see just how far gone Trump’s mental status is.

Interestingly enough, Ron Filipkowski from Meidas Touch has been keeping a close eye on Trump’s Truth Social posts, and figured out that Trump made more than a hundred posts on Wednesday alone. Not only has the frequency gone up, so has the over the top franticness.

Filipkowski ended up summing it up in this way: “There is a significant difference between Trump’s behavior after the March trial date was set. Before that he was pretty nutty. Now he’s totally f*cking out of his mind. I think he suddenly realizes that he literally could be in a jail cell 7 months from now.”

That feels about right. Donald Trump may have been deluding himself into believing that he could somehow magically delay his trials until after the election. But that was never a real thing, and his March 2024 federal trial date may have finally driven that home for him. Trump was never going back to the White House, he was always going to the big house. And now even he seems to understand that.
