Donald Trump throws idiotic tantrum about Elizabeth Warren

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If Thursday belonged to any one person, it was Nancy Pelosi, who regained her former role as Speaker of the House even as her party retook control of the House of Representatives. Donald Trump still hasn’t worked up the nerve to attack Pelosi. Instead he lashed out on Thursday at a different powerful Democratic woman: Elizabeth Warren.

Earlier this week, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren launched an exploratory committee – which in layman’s terms means that, short of an unexpected development, she’s running for president in the 2020 election. This is yet more bad news for Donald Trump, as Warren is smart and savvy and really good at explaining to the American people why Trump is bad for the average American. We all know that Trump is intimidated by Warren, as he’s repeatedly and dishonestly attacked her over her Native American heritage. Now Trump is at it again, but he’s moving the goal posts.

Donald Trump has long falsely accused Elizabeth Warren of faking her Native American heritage, and he’s routinely hurled racist insults such as “Pocahontas” at her. Warren recently took a DNA test which demonstrated that she is indeed part Native American. In the minds of any rational people, it’s obviously the end of the controversy. But because Trump always keeps fighting the battles he’s lost, he posted a meme today claiming that Warren is “1/2020th” Native American.

In other words, Donald Trump has no idea how to fend off Elizabeth Warren, so he’s sticking with the one racist, simplistic, and failed line of attack he can think of. Here’s the thing. Based on the way things are unfolding for Trump, the odds are remote that he’ll even be in position to run in 2020. Trump should probably be less worried about his prospects two years from now, and whether he’ll still be “president” two months from now. By 2020, the odds are he’ll be in prison.
