Donald Trump takes the loss after judge in E. Jean Carroll trial calls his bluff

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The judge has successfully called Donald Trump’s bluff, and now Trump has been forced to formally confirm that he’s refusing to testify in the E. Jean Carroll trial. Carroll will likely win almost by default, and now Trump will have a more difficult time trying to win on appeal. After all, he won’t be able to argue that he was somehow shut out of testifying. Trump just keeps finding ways to lose.

It’s also notable that Trump’s ‘will he or won’t he testify’ stunt didn’t delay the trial or the verdict by even a single day. If Trump is attempting to run out the clock on his trials, he’s finding out the hard way that that’s not a real thing.

When E. Jean Carroll wins the trial, the media will insist Trump magically got away with it all because he can appeal the damages. But Carroll isn’t in it for the money. She wants vindication. She wants Trump branded a rapist. Appeal or no appeal, she’ll get what she was seeking.
