Donald Trump suffers malfunction

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We’re now three days removed from a presidential debate that may have spelled the end for Donald Trump’s political career and his freedom, and he still has no idea how to respond or move on. Yesterday afternoon he had some kind of manic meltdown and made forty Truth Social posts in the span of an hour, none of which amounted to anything. Today isn’t going any better for him.

Trump’s latest attempt at turning things around with social media today ended up going like this:

That’s right, he’s just randomly posting the hashtag sign with no hashtag. That’s one brilliant social media strategy right there. It’s fitting, given that “hashtag [nothing]” could be the slogan of his campaign these days.

What’s remarkable is that an hour later, this social media malfunction still hasn’t been cleaned up. Donald Trump clearly isn’t bothering to look at what he’s posting, and there’s no one on his team in position to catch these kinds of things. He’s just falling apart. Hashtag nothing indeed.
