Donald Trump, spiraling out of control, throws Jared Kushner under the bus

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Just how out of control is Donald Trump right now? Yesterday he had a tantrum and started throwing things after his failed press conference. Today he refused to get out of bed. He has no White House Chief of Staff going forward, and little hope of finding one. Now Trump is taking out his frustrations by throwing his son-in-law Jared Kushner under the bus.

Donald Trump announced that John Kelly was departing, because Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff Nick Ayers had agreed to take the promotion. Then Ayers immediately backed out, lasting zero days on the job. According to a new leak to Vanity Fair that could only have come from Trump himself, it was Kushner and Ivanka who had lined up Ayers to take the gig in the first place.

Jared Kushner still inexplicably has a senior White House position, despite his close ongoing relationship with a Saudi Crown Prince who murdered an American journalist. But now it looks like Kushner is on the outs. We don’t know what the real truth is about the Ayers debacle, because these people are all proven liars. That said, there is little doubt here that Trump is making a point of throwing Kushner under the bus.

There is a reason no one wants to be Donald Trump’s White House Chief of Staff. Anyone who takes the job will eventually face one of three outcomes: 1) Commit crimes at Trump’s instruction, and then go to prison. 2) Commit crimes at Trump’s instruction, and then cut a plea deal against him. 3) Refuse to commit crimes, and quickly get fired.
