Donald Trump finally took the stage at 10:30pm eastern time for his Republican National Convention speech, raising half serious questions about whether his handlers were trying to figure out how to attach another ridiculously giant bandage to his head. Sure enough, Trump indeed came out with a giant bandage on his ear again, but that was the least of his problems.

Trump has spent the first several minutes listlessly and lifelessly rambling incoherently about getting shot (or shot at; he still hasn’t released any sort of medical report). Trump seems to be pausing every three or four words. It’s not clear if he’s struggling with the teleprompter, or if he’s just speaking that lifelessly.

In any case, Donald Trump is coming across as lethargic, weak, and broken. If the media would do its damn job and focus on just how jarringly bad of shape Trump is in, Trump would be out of the race by now. But that’ll come down to us. Now let’s go win this: donate to Palmer Report via PayPal or GoFundMe.
