Donald Trump seen shaking his head in disgust as his criminal trial goes horribly for him
Every day of Donald Trump’s criminal trial has gone poorly for him thus far, but today might have been the worst of all. It began with a gag order violation hearing that moved Trump a step closer to a jail cell, and it ended with Trump’s defense attorneys humiliating themselves while trying to smear a key witness on cross examination.
Somewhere in the middle of it all, during a break, Trump (or his babysitters) made a bizarre social media post in which he insisted that he’s not actually sleeping during the trial, while ranting about how beautiful his eyes are. It was that kind of day for him.
But while Trump was awake today, he could pretty clearly see that the trial was going poorly for him. At one point he looked at his own legal team and shook his head in disgust at how poorly it was all going for him, according to Norm Eisen.
So here we are, with Donald Trump losing the trial badly, losing his ability to stay awake during the trial, losing his ability to control the narrative about how he’s dozing off, and just plain losing it. And it’s only Thursday.
