Donald Trump reveals he’s got nothing in Jack Smith battle

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s hard sometimes not to laugh at Donald Trump’s clumsy and silly machinations. Trump’s cons and stupid games are ubiquitous. They’re everywhere, and they get more and more bizarre.

Trump’s legal team has filed an answer to Jack Smith asking the Supreme Court to look at the question of immunity. In their filing, the Trump team asks (to quote MSNBC), “What’s the rush?” What’s the rush? Relax. Slow down, Supreme Court, feel free to take your time (maybe even a few decades) to decide this one! (My words.)

I’m just kidding, but I am NOT joking about the response. Trump wants the Supreme Court to refrain from weighing in. Trump, king of litigation and emperor of frivolous lawsuits, does not want the highest court in the land to weigh in on a critical case.

In their desperate brief, the Trump legal team says — these things take time to sort out! “Be resolved in a cautious, deliberative manner — not at breakneck speed.” Reading between the lines, what Trump and the team are saying is ):

“Please don’t take this case. I don’t want to go to jail. Please Brett, Neil, Clarence, surely YOU — Sam, don’t let them take me from my gold toilets!!” Like I said — it’s laughable. Here’s the REAL problem for Donald Trump and it isn’t even REALLY about the Supreme Court.

Donald Trump is searching. He is not searching for Supreme Court Justices. Nor is he searching for any one particular Judge. No, Trump’s search is less bound to reality than that. Trump is searching for his magician.

That is what Trump wants — a touch of magic. Trump is seeking a magician, a sinister, evil magician. This is who our baleful Trump hopes to find in his journey. He desires this illusionist to utilize their evil powers, to cast aside all that ails him(Trump), with a trick — one fine magic trick that will save him, make it all go away, make EVERY case, every problem, every dilemma vanish like the disappearing lady in many a magic trick did so often.

Only magic is, after all, just magic. . For every trick, there is an answer to how it came to be. A simple magic trick cannot solve Trump’s issues. That is what he craves so desperately, and that is likely where his night dreams take him, in search of someone who can work their magic and let Donny wake up FREE from judges, courtrooms, and cell doors.

It cannot be, Donald, and if you’d ever studied the art of magic, you’d already KNOW that. Magic cannot take away the yearning itch that refuses to go away. It can’t save you. Magic is not real, Donald. Like your belief that you would always be free from the consequences of your own actions Donald, magic has always been an illusion.
