Donald Trump reportedly suffering from “severe memory issues” as people from his life are disappearing from his memory entirely

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s ongoing cognitive decline continues to be the biggest (and most underreported) story in all of politics. The good news is that it’s finally starting to get some of the mainstream media coverage that it deserves. Now someone who interviewed Trump is revealing just how bad it’s gotten.

A book author says that he’s interviewed Donald Trump six times over the years, yet the last time he saw Trump, Trump didn’t even remember him. The author says that Trump is suffering from “severe memory issues” overall. The best news here is that this author is now starting to get cable news airtime to talk about Trump’s cognitive collapse.

During Donald Trump’s criminal trial, Jeffrey Clark reportedly went up to Trump to greet him during a break, but Trump had no idea who Clark was. This was stunning, given that Trump and Clark worked closely to try to overthrow the 2020 election, and are currently criminal co-defendants. Trump also didn’t seem to recognize Michael Cohen on the stand, as Trump spent much of Cohen’s testimony looking at overhead photos of his rally crowds.

Trump has also been combining two or more people in his life into one person, as often tends to happen with dementia patients. For the past year Trump has thought that Joe Biden and Barack Obama were the same person. More recently he’s come to think that Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi are the same person. Last week he appeared to merge his pals Mike Johnson and Ronny Jackson into one person.

What we’re observing from Trump’s public appearances is exactly what people are observing who are seeing him from up close. His memory is gone, his focus is gone, and his ability to complete a sentence is so addled that he has to make up fake words along the way. He talks obsessively about how he’d rather get electrocuted than eaten by a shark. He asks aloud in public why he’s still bothering to put his pants on.

The good news, politically speaking, is that Donald Trump’s dementia symptoms are rapidly getting worse. This means that the general public is starting to see it and hear about it, which in turn means the media has to cover it in order to retain credibility. The media may not want to admit that Trump is fully senile, for fear of finishing him off before we even get to November. But the media clearly now feels that it has to go there and talk about Trump’s dementia. And that’s the best news we’ve heard yet.
