Donald Trump pulls the plug on campaign event
With each new campaign event and public appearance, Donald Trump comes off as more physically unwell and cognitively challenged than ever. Trump’s senility has gotten bad enough that it’s now making huge headlines – and it could end his political viability before anything else.
Now Trump is suddenly pulling the plug on a major 2024 campaign event in Arizona at the last minute without explanation. Some are speculating that Trump may be pulling out because of the recent controversy surrounding the Arizona GOP Chair’s attempt at paying Kari Lake to drop out of the 2024 Senate race. But why would Trump run away from an event because of a mere sideshow like that?
Instead it feels more likely that, amid the mounting headlines about Trump’s worsening senility, his babysitters are merely trying to keep him out of the public eye for the moment in the hope that the senility headlines will die down. When we’re at a point where even Fox News is talking about how Trump now thinks Nikki Haley is Nancy Pelosi, it’s getting into dangerous territory for Trump.
This comes after Donald Trump took the stand in his E. Jean Carroll trial today, but his attorney didn’t really ask him anything, and Trump left the stand after just three minutes. It sure does feel like Trump’s facetime in public is suddenly being minimized. It’ll be interesting to watch and see if Trump pulls the plug on any other planned public appearances. Something seems off here.
