Donald Trump now reduced to citing Dark Brandon memes in legal filings

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Apart from the fact that Donald Trump has mounting legal troubles, he’s also forced to deal with lawyers that are hopelessly incompetent, as the better ones have come to learn the hard way that it’s pretty much impossible to trust the guy with good advice and he lies so incessantly that getting him to commit to any version of the truth is a challenge by itself.

So now, while he’s facing some of the most serious charges of his criminal career, he’s sabotaging himself in every possible way, all while his attorney John Lauro is making a case for the defense against – Dark Brandon.

Yes, you read that right. Lauro’s legal argument has been reduced to claiming that President Biden’s Twitter post where he merely sips coffee is evidence of a nefarious, politically motivated scheme to go after the former guy.

There’s two possibilities that aren’t necessarily exclusive of each other: Donald Trump really is far gone enough that he believes this, or they know that there’s a largely insurmountable case and they’re doing it to drum up the demented base he has left and incite as much chaos and destruction as they can on the way out.
