Donald Trump melts down in wake of President Biden’s State of the Union address
Donald Trump promised he’d do a live-rebuttal of President Biden’s State of the Union address. But Trump’s Truth Social site failed to load for most of the speech. And even once it did finally start working, Trump’s performance was so inept that he’d have been better off if it had remained out of order.
For instance at one point Trump posted this: “THIS IS LIKE A SHOUTING MATCH, EVERY LINE IS BEING SHOUTED.” Yeah, that’s right, he used ALL CAPS to accuse the other guy of shouting. Also, Trump doesn’t appear to know that a “shouting match” involves more than one person.
At another point Trump posted this: “WHAT HAPPENED TO NANCY?” Wait, what? Is Trump asking why Nancy Pelosi isn’t sitting behind President Biden? Has Trump forgotten that Pelosi is no longer Speaker of the House? It’s been more than a year now. Just how far gone is Trump’s mind?
Then there was the part where Trump simply yelled “TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME!” with no context whatsoever. At this point it’s possible that Trump’s handlers had him watching a rerun of Bonanza and simply told him it was the State of the Union address. At this point it’s doubtful Trump would know the difference.
