Donald Trump makes incoherently senile Truth Social post, deletes it

Donald Trump’s babysitters have kept him mostly hidden from the public during the transition period. He’s done a couple targeted interviews, but beyond that, he’s been missing in action. Trump has even largely disappeared from social media, with his babysitters making generic posts for him.

But now Trump appears to have regained access to his social media, and he’s not hesitating to tell us how he feels. Unfortunately for him, he’s far too senile to be able to tell us anything that makes sense.

Trump is ranting about the recent drone sightings in New Jersey, which have captured the public’s imagination but are pretty obviously a low tech civilian hoax and not international spy craft. But Trump is now demanding to know whether this is happening without the government’s knowledge. Of course he immediately answered his own question with “I don think so!” That’s right, “I don think so!” Trump then went on to demand that somebody “shot them down!!!”

Seriously, was Trump having a stroke or something when he posted this? In any case, after about half an hour, Trump’s babysitters deleted his post and replaced it with a version written in intelligible English. So is Trump going rogue against his handlers wishes, or was this just a stunt aimed at distracting from how badly his cabinet nominations are floundering? In any case, Trump is coming across as more senile than ever.
