Donald Trump makes curious edit to his “Insurrection Act” meltdown on Truth Social

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Barely an hour ago, Donald Trump had a meltdown on Truth Social in which he demanded that President Biden be charged under the “Insurrection Act” for supposedly stealing classified documents. Even if this false accusation against Biden were true, the charge would be under the Espionage Act, which Trump has already been charged under.

Everyone noticed that Trump was suddenly obsessed with the Insurrection Act, and people immediately began asking if this was a Freudian slip on Trump’s part. After all, he’s never ranted about the Insurrection Act before, so why now? Did Jack Smith just inform Trump and his team that he’s being indicted under the Insurrection Act for January 6th? Now things have taken an even more curious turn.

Trump’s Truth Social post has now been edited, so that it says “Espionage Act” instead of “Insurrection Act.” Oh come on. This is almost getting cartoonish. We’re also left to wonder if Trump even knows how to edit a social media post after the fact. Did someone on his team go in and make this edit, to try to steer everyone away from the Insurrection Act? If so, it’s a little late.

“Insurrection Act” is now trending on Twitter, and it’s all because Donald Trump himself just put the Insurrection Act into the public discourse. What does he know that we don’t? Did he just get told he’s being indicted again this upcoming week? Stay tuned.
