Donald Trump just lost to E. Jean Carroll AGAIN

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump already lost one civil trial to E. Jean Carroll. And the thing we saw leading up to that trial was that once the start date was locked in, there was nothing Trump could to do delay it. His last minute filings were rejected by the courts in almost real time, and the trial started as scheduled.

Now we’re seeing that same pattern repeating in the lead up to the second trial between Trump and Carroll. The start date is set for January 16th. Trump keeps making last minute filings aimed at delaying the trial, but they keep failing, and the trial start date remains January 16th.

Today Trump lost yet again, after the U.S. Court of Appeals laughed off yet another of Trump’s last ditch filings. The key here is that the trial start date is still set for January 16th. These last minute filings aren’t actually delaying anything.

Trump will now likely ask the Supreme Court to weigh in. But given that the Supreme Court had no interest in helping Trump with his first E. Jean Carroll trial, it’s hard to imagine the Supreme Court will show any interest in this trial either. Trump simply doesn’t have a magic delay wand when it comes to his trials.
